Nokia and BBC Worldwide launches the VOD service for SEAP

A Video on Demand Service Portal was carefully conceptualized in this first time collaboration between Nokia, BBC Worldwide and Digital Connect showcasing specially selected video contents from BBC Worldwide. DRM technology using DC's IP Connect Mobile Platform was deployed to ensure that the contents are securely distributed for playback on the Nokia N96 phones. Content such as Walking with Dinosaurs and Doctor Who are some of the video collections in the library. For the concern of the non-IT savvy users, a support hotline has been put in place to guide them through or to answer any of their queries. For now, videos are only made available to residents of Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. In time to come, residents of Australia and New Zealand will also be able to enjoy this enriching experience from being an owner of Nokia mobile phone, beginning with Nokia N96.

6Range Goes The Extra Mile

DC was commissioned to implement a mobile membership system for the wide range of Sony Ericsson phones that the company carries. 6Range customers could use the mobile membership “card” that was embedded to the phone with greater convenience and ease of identification for the great membership benefits that the membership offers. Should they lose their mobile phones, they can request for membership download again via the online membership module. This deployment resulted substantial cost saving to the company for resources associated with the management of a physical membership channel leading to greater benefits and better membership channel management for 6Range customers.

SAMSUNG refines mobile lifestyle with its Live Loud Music Edition

The launch of 3 sleek mobile models, F330, I450 and F250 feature a great library of songs and video with the secure content delivery channel managed with DC IP Mobile Connect Platform. The campaign was launched for all SAMSUMG Live Loud Music handset owners in Singapore and Philippines. Sony Ericsson - Retail Sales and Incentive Registration System

Digital Connect was commissioned to implement a retail sales and registration system for Sony Ericsson. The system comprises of an online registration system and a mobile application customised for each phone model. The preloaded application was designed to authenticate each sales transaction made by the sales personnel against the online registered sales. The entire system offer an extensive channel which allow sales personnel to be rewarded for sales done, provide a robust reporting engine for sales tracking and a customised secure mobile application for Sony Ericsson's extensive range of mobile phones.
